About ColourPixColourPix was founded in 1998 by partners Barbara Pearn and Ron Barnett. Both partners had over 10 years experience in the graphic design and advertising industry at national retailers such as Shoppers Drug Mart and Canadian Tire. Barbara began work as a freelance designer for advertising agencies and graphic design studios in Toronto under the name Blue Line Graphic Studio. Ron continued to work full time until 1998 when they won a contract to design a children's magazine and ColourPix was born. Barbara designed Kidsworld Magazine editorial pages and related websites. Ron designed advertising and in-school programs. Barbara changed gears and began providing design and printing services to a broad range of clients in Ontario and across Canada. ColourPix's strengths are flexibility, creativity with a keen sense of design style. The latest industry standards, software and technology are used. Professional photographers, writers, editors and programmers are brought in as needed.
