Eugenia History A Historic Treasure

Eugenia a Historic Treasure

This book covers what life was like in Eugenia and the surrounding area in 1853, events leading to discovery of Eugenia Falls, the gold rush and the history of hydro production in Eugenia. Eugenia is the site of a small Hydro Generating station, built by William Hogg, just above Eugenia Falls. Lake Eugenia was created in 1914 as a result of the Hydro Dam and Eugenia Power Station built to generate power for the area.

A map showing points of interest make this a good book to take with you on a walking tour of Eugenia. 16 pages.
